Who am I?  Who am I.

I am  a Sage and an Occultist.  I guess it's more fun to be the one looking for the truth in a world of illusion, then simply not realizing the illusion.  Where does our perception break off from reality?  What is the Truth?  I enjoy the questions raised by Buddhism and the Kaballah.  I've studied Tarot and love the Art and Magick only colored cardboard can bring you.  Am I psychic?  What is psychic?  I tend to be too aware to be caught by surprise.  My Tarot reading is also about awareness not psychic powers.  Maybe it's all semantics but does it really matter.  What is the truth?

I am a Witch.  I never really wanted to be a Witch.  No real reason.  Just didn't seem to be me.  I once hated bugs.  I now get lost in the bizarre flight patterns of butterflies.  I appreciate the vivid colors of Dragonflies, and appreciate their place in our Ecology.  I love watching crows and magpies fight over territory.  Somewhere in me it just clicked.  I became a Wiccan.  I'll never be a true Buddhist, disagreeing with their ideas of the value of life, as much as I love the rest.  I'll never rage for War like Ares, or feel the purest Taoist bliss.  I'll always be a Wiccan.  We are lost without the trees that process our oxygen, the vegetation that feeds us.  God ain't in no Book, God is Nature. We are Nature.

And my value of life?  A life well lived is priceless.  A life wasted is a crime against God.  We are Machines and easily reproduce as our nature.  You can say it is the most special gift, I simply don't agree.    Life is Malkuth.  It is the here and now, but not the destination.  The Parasite within this Machine is our Blessing.  Yes I said Parasite.  A word that describes a life form feeding off another life form.  You perceive a parasite to be a bad thing, but is this metaphor not correct?  Is the Parasite we call a Soul not a Good thing?  Always question your perception.  Perception can be the Illusion of the Truth.

Having an  honors diploma in Marketing and identifying the non-stop sell might make me more aware.  From religions to governments, Marketing is everywhere.  Each message has been prepared for consumption.  If only some products and services were as good as the advertising made them out to be.  Non-stop we are bombarded with messages telling us what to do, what to think, who to be.  Pharmaceutical companies no longer are interested in meeting demand, they create a demand.  What of the consequences?  Why do you need these products?   Would you have a better life without Viagra, Doritos, and the latest comedy from Hollywood?  What if Society focused on values and substance rather than illusion?  And I'm not talking about the Religious Conservatives ridding the world of rap music and violent video games.  That would be exchanging one sense of delusion for another.

Web Designer and Graphic Artist.  Well you're here aren't you.  I love the computer.  Technology can help us grow, or it can cripple us.  I try to use it wisely.  I would be lost without the undo button.  Web Design should be an Art.  So many are cluttered and muddled.  Concise, entertaining, visual, and vital; that is what the Internet should be about.

Hypnosis, Dream Awareness and Programming, NLP (Neural Linguistic Programming), Nutritionist.  We are Machines.  O.K. I might not understand why we dream but it is obviously a part of the Great Engineers design.  I also hate to be wasting a third of my life being asleep.  Wait a minute isn't it my whole Thesis that Society is asleep, yet even when I'm asleep I want to be Aware.  I must be crazy.  Crazy is a perception of not conforming to society.  Oh I'm off topic.  Sorry.  Hypnosis, NLP, and diet can all play a key role in transforming yourself from a sleeper to a dreamer.  And you must first dream the Dream before you can live it out.

So what is Arestao?  It is living your life to it's fullest.  Rage forth with compassion and love.  Arestao is simply a sign post, the journey is up to you.
